Franklin Dexter, M.D.
Franklin Dexter (MD, PhD), is a professor in the Departments of Anesthesia at the University of Iowa
.
As the Director of Operations Research in the Department of Anesthesia, Dr. Dexter has performed over 200 consultations to more than 30 companies and 70 hospitals.
Dr. Dexter completed a Sc.B. in Applied Mathematics & Biology with Honors from
Brown University; Masters Degree & Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, with specialization in biomathematics, from Case Western Reserve University; M.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine; and Anesthesiology residency at the University of Iowa
.
Dr. Dexter has published over 250 papers in the fields of operating room management and anesthesia and has given over 110 invited presentations in the
United States
and abroad. In March 2009 he headed a team of authors in  the cover article featured in Anesthesia & Analgesia: “Automatic updating of Times Remaining in Surgical Cases Using Bayesian Analysis of Historical Case Duration Data and “Instant Messaging” Updates from Anesthesia Providers.” (Anesthesia & Analgesia 108(3), March 2009).

 

Julian A. Gold, M.D.
Dr. Gold is Co-Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.  Dr. Gold has over 30 years experience in the field of anesthesiology.  He graduated from New York School of Medicine in 1974, where he completed his internship in surgery, residency in anesthesiology, and fellowship in cardiac anesthesia.
In addition to Dr. Gold’s teaching position as Assistant Professor of Anesthesia at UCLA Medical Center, he is also member of the Board of Directors of Cedars-Sinai Health System and the Medical Executive Committee.  Dr. Gold is member of various IT committees involved in hospital IT integration within clinical environments.  

 

Rina Dechter, Ph.D.
Ms. Dechter is a professor of Computer Science at the
University of California, Irvine. She received her PhD in Computer Science at UCLA in 1985, an MS degree in Applied Mathematics from the Weizmann Institute and a B.Sc.in Mathematics and Statistics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Her research is focused on computational aspects of automated reasoning and knowledge representation including search, constraint processing and probabilistic reasoning.

Professor Dechter is the author of “Constraint Processing”, published by Morgan Kaufmann, 2003. She has authored over 100 research papers, and has served on the editorial boards of: Artificial Intelligence, The Constraint Journal, Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research and Logical Method in Computer Science (LMCS). She was awarded the Presidential Young investigator award in 1991, is a fellow of the American association of Artificial Intelligence, since 1994, was a Radcliffe Fellow 2005-2006 and received the 2007 Association of Constraint Programming (ACP) research excellence award.
  
 

Yaffa Krindel
Ms. Krindel was venture partner at Star Venture between 1997–2008.
Prior to joining Star, Ms. Krindel served as CFO and VP Finance for Lannet Data Communications Ltd. (now Avaya, Inc.), and CFO of BreezeCOM Ltd., (now Alvarion Ltd.).
She serves on the board of several companies such as Syneron, Fundtech, Voltaire, OrSense and Siano.
Ms. Krindel holds an M.B.A. (Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in Economics and Japanese Studies (Cum Laude), from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem

Nino S. Levy, Ph.D.
Mr. Levy is the President of Nisil Ltd. a private consulting company. He teaches at the Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration (Tel Aviv University) and his book "Managing High Technology and Innovation" is used as a textbook by leading universities worldwide.  Dr. Levy was one of the founders of ELTA, an IAI subsidiary and for his research work in the company he received the prestigious "Israel Defense Award". He served as CEO of ELTA for 10 year and directed the transformation of the company to a reputable world leader in the  Defense Electronics arena.
Mr. Levy is a B.Sc. graduate in Electrical Engineering of the Technion and he received his M.Sc. in System Engineering and Ph.D. in Industrial Management from the University of Southern California.

Tomer Dor
Mr. Dor is a private investor and a mentor for startup companies. Mr. Dor has over 20 years of experience in software and systems development. He served as the CTO of several leading edge technology development groups. Mr. Dor holds a B.A. in Social Sciences, a B.A. (Cum Laude) in Computer Sciences, an M.Sc. in Computer Sciences, and M.B.A. (Cum Laude)  from the Israeli Open University.
